The Warren Group Welcomes its Newest Data Analyst

BOSTON, August 25, 2016 – Jay Karuna-Ratne began his professional career as a programmer in Waltham, Massachusetts but soon his path would take on several new challenges and experiences. Originally from the nation of Sri Lanka, Jay received his Bachelors of Science in Mathematics in his native land before he moved to the United States in 1986. Here he would attend Northeastern University to receive his MS in entrepreneurship. From there on Jay would become a partner at Kaltrex Systems which introduced him to the world of sales and securing clients in the IT industry.

     As a real estate investor in his personal life Jay has gained a wealth of knowledge in the Boston market by purchasing single family homes and condos in Charlestown, Melrose and Foxboro. Jay would later gain his programming and database skills at Boston Studies Group as a real estate Data Analyst where he managed, analyzed and reported on market and demographic trends to help serve his clients. At the Warren Group Jay will be using his data-mining expertise in Tableau to help implement several dashboards to help better serve publication clients as well as internal sales team members and reporters. “I do the research and use my technology based back ground to serve my clients with cutting edge services. In the end, executing and navigating our databases in a calculated approach is my recipe for success.”   

    In his leisure time Jay enjoys the outdoors and has a passion for kayaking, race and mountain biking, and was a former rugby player in his college years. Jay is also an avid wine connoisseur having visited several iconic wineries in Napa, Sonoma, France, Italy, Germany and Australia.
